AdBlue and Spare Part Prices for Commercial Vehicles See Market Adjustments

Currently, AdBlue prices vary depending on the packaging size and supplier. On popular platforms such as Amazon.in, a 5-liter container is priced between ₹450 and ₹500, while 10-liter containers cost approximately ₹1,000 to ₹1,100. New Delhi, October 1, 2025: Commercial vehicle operators across India are closely watching changes in AdBlue rates and related spare part costs, as these have a direct impact on operational expenses. AdBlue, also known as Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), is a critical component for BS-IV and BS-VI trucks and buses, helping to reduce harmful emissions and meet regulatory norms.

Currently, AdBlue prices vary depending on the packaging size and supplier. Beyond AdBlue fluid, the cost of associated spare parts is also significant for fleet operators. Urea filters, for instance, range between ₹200 and ₹1,500, depending on brand and vehicle model. A urea tank filter for Bharat Benz is available at roughly ₹700, while similar components for other brands are priced between ₹200 and ₹350.

Meanwhile, larger components carry steeper price tags. A urea tank motor for Tata BS-IV vehicles costs around ₹12,000, while an AdBlue pump unit can reach nearly ₹39,000, making it one of the more expensive spare parts in the system.

For operators seeking updated prices and reliable supply, platforms such as IndiaMART, Amazon, and specialized auto part dealers remain the most trusted sources. Experts recommend that transporters explore bulk deals with authorized suppliers to optimize costs, especially for fleet operations where AdBlue consumption is high.

With rising demand for cleaner vehicles and stricter emission norms, the AdBlue market is expected to expand further. However, cost fluctuations in both fluid and spare parts will continue to remain a key concern for India’s logistics sector.
